why the bird?

It comes from the words of Jesus found in Matthew 10. He explains, "not
one (sparrow) falls to the ground apart from the Father's will." (v. 29)

This text speaks of the Father's absolute sovereignty over the
tiniest of details--even the dying of a bird.

That Truth settles my soul regardless of circumstance.

Nothing catches Him off-guard.
